After a bunch of ride time on and off road I've yet to have any issues with them. Most of the time I forget they are there. Until walking, at which point it feels as if your boots come up above your knees. Still feeling it was money well spent for protecting questionable old knees!
Just received my new Pod K8 2.0's (both left & right) Was going to go with another brand but changed my mind due to Pods fitting videos and simplicity. I have had a custom brace for my left knee for the last seven years. It was heavy and great for skiing but not on the motorcycle. First impressions of the Pod braces out of the box and fitting, they are better than my custom brace and WAY lighter. Also pulling knee pads out of my Klim pants (D30) due to the build and placement of protection on the Pod's. Also without the pads in the pant knee's it's a much nicer fit (the Klim pants are over the boot). After riding these for awhile I'll come back with a ride update but for now I'm impressed with them and glad for going this direction.
I had two zippers fail on my Badland Pro pants. Brian arranged for Klim to repair them with no hassle, excellent service by Atomic Moto (as I've come to expect) and nice to know Klim stand behind their products.
This is my second pair of Sidi Adventure 2 boots. I purchased the first pair seven or eight years ago and rode across Europe\Russia with multiple days of rain. The boots were awesome and always kept my feet dry and are still in excellent condition. When I decided to purchase a second pair, in brown, Brian at Atomic Moto was able to provide them when other major retailers did not have availability.
Super comfy right out of the dam box. And as usual for Alpine stars riding gear the quality was top-notch.
Absolutely love my Tech 7. This is my 2nd pair that I'm buying in last 4 years. These shoes you can wear them instantly (from box to bike) without a break in period
These boots are actually lighter than I thought they would be and are very comfortable. Surprising for a full protection boot!
