Alpinestars Bionic XTR Plasma Protection Jacket

This is a clever and fantastic new protector from Alpinestars. It is two separate pieces, a baselayer with shoulder and elbow protection, and a separate chest/back protector that goes over the top of the base. This construction allows much more stretch of the fabric underneath, and much better ventilation. The result is much better fit, movement, and comfort.

Engineered for all forms of off-road riding, the Bionic XTR PLASMA Protection Jacket features anatomically profiled Nucleon PLASMA protectors mounted in a soft-touch chassis on highly breathable padding for supreme levels of protection, comfort, light weight, and airflow.

This jacket is equipped with a composite Nucleon PLASMA and semi rigid thermoplastic protector construction on the chest, back, shoulders, and elbows for maximum impact protection while being supremely adaptive.
