The Gaerne Fastback Enduro is the same as the standard Fastback, but with the addition of a lugged sole. This makes the boot more suited to riders that need grip when off the bike, such as ADV Riders. The Fastback has most of the features of the SG-10 boot, such as a mechanical hinge, adjustable calf, and a wide fit. Extensive plastic offers great protection while that amazing Gaerne fit gives outstanding comfort. It is light, strong, and has that awesome Gaerne durability. This boot is a WINNER. Highly BOMBER Recommended.

Great looking boots

Haven’t ridden in them or broken them in, yet but they feel good, so far. Boots look great as well. Quality built.
Wide enough toe box for me (I wear 11.5EE) in shoes. Went with the size 11 and they feel good, even with my custom insoles.
Cannot wait to break them in!

These boots are everything Atomic Motos videos say they are.construction and materials are top quality.I measured my feet and selected the size accordingly and the fit is right on.would recommend these to everyone.Ordering form Atomic Moto was also great they actually care about what they are doing unlike so many places out there these days.

Good brake feel with ankle protection

I was struggling with good brake control in technical off-road situations using Sidi crossfire MX boots, so I had started using my trials boots. Which offer almost no ankle protection.
My first ride in these was a 2hour hare scramble. They were great. Had brake control in the tough spots and no shifting issues. My right foot took a few good hits without incident.

Best in the industry

While dealing with Brian on this purchase it became obvious I was dealing with a highly knowledgeable, old school motorcycle guy. It reminded me of the guys I would talk with 30 years ago who knew the products, all the products. Tell him what you want and he'll tell you what you need. And it will likely be just that. There's value in this service. The SG12's are a heavy duty boot. To the point I was asking myself " do I need this much protection?" After breaking my leg at the ankle waring my old boots the answer was clearly yes. There are going to take some getting used to no doubt about it but you will have THE best protection money can buy. I can't compare to the Tech 10's because I haven't worn those. The Klim helmet Brian recommended is fantastic as well.

New favorite boots

Replaced my tech 10s with the Sg22s. By far the best boot I’ve had right out of the box and the option for half sizes is nice. Atomic moto was a great company to deal with and I will be making my next purchase with them.
